Two IHG credit cards have limited-time offers — but they’re ending soon! If you want to take advantage of generous offers on the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card and IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card, you’ll have to do so before 9 a.m. EST on March 20, 2025.

According to our valuations, a bonus of 170,000 IHG points is worth nearly $1,000, and a bonus of 100,000 IHG points is worth nearly $600.

  • Annual fee

    $99

  • Welcome offer

Limited time offer — Earn 170,000 points after spending $4,000 in the first 3 months

  • Rewards rate

    • 26x points at IHG hotels and resorts
    • 5x points on travel, dining, and at gas stations
    • 3x points on all other purchases
  • Benefits

    • Earn a free night on each account anniversary, plus get a fourth night free when you redeem your points for a consecutive four-night stay at IHG properties
    • Receive Global Entry, TSA PreCheck®, or NEXUS statement credit of up to $120 every 4 years as reimbursement for the application fee charged to your card
    • Access perks including free upgrades, welcome amenities, and guaranteed room availability when you book at least 72 hours in advance

Why we like it: The IHG One Rewards Premier is our preferred option between the two cards because it has a low annual fee and increased benefits. Our favorite part about this card is that you get a free night award (worth up to 40,000 points) each anniversary year. Depending on how you use it, the free night benefit could easily offset your annual fee each year.

Add in the value of other card benefits — including automatic Platinum Elite status, no foreign transaction fees, and receiving a fourth reward night free — and you have a powerhouse of a hotel credit card.

  • Annual fee

    $0

  • Welcome offer

Limited time offer — Earn 100,000 Bonus Points after spending $2,000 in first 3 months

  • Rewards rate

    • 17x when you stay at IHG Hotels & Resorts
    • 3x on purchases on monthly bills, at gas stations, and restaurants
    • 2x on all other purchases
  • Benefits

    • $0 annual fee
    • Redeem 3 nights, get the 4th night free
    • Enjoy international travel without additional fees on purchases made abroad

Why we like it: The IHG One Rewards Traveler doesn’t charge an annual fee, making it an easy, low-cost option if you would rather avoid card membership costs. However, you won’t get as many benefits as the IHG One Rewards Premier.

Still, this card doesn’t charge foreign transaction fees, and you can also redeem points for a free fourth reward night when staying at an IHG hotel for four consecutive nights.

Note that the fourth-night-free benefit is exclusive to IHG cardholders, and there’s no limit on how many times you can use it each year.

With brands like Holiday Inn, Kimpton, and InterContinental and over 6,000 locations worldwide, IHG Hotels and Resorts offers plenty of options.

Here are a few ways you can redeem IHG points and take advantage of the fourth-night-free benefit:

Four nights near Disneyland Paris

A Holiday Inn Express stay within 12 minutes of driving distance — 25 to 30 if you take public transportation — to Disneyland Paris would cost 72,000 points. Plus, you’ll get free breakfast every morning.

InterContinental is an IHG luxury brand, so prices are often high. However, you can find great deals at many locations outside the U.S., including the Mediterranean island country of Malta. You could have a four-night stay at the InterContinental Malta for 133,000 points. With over 300 days of annual sunshine, Malta is a seagoer and sunbather’s paradise.

Looking for a domestic beach vacation? For our selected dates, a beachfront four-night stay at the Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel and Spa would cost 165,000 points. Not bad at all for a highly-rated beachfront property.
